RETRURN

Development Readings
Miriam, a geneticist, is on the verge of a scientific breakthrough that could alter humanity and transform our understanding of death. As her research and family become intertwined, every relationship in her life, including her relationship with God, is pushed to the breaking point. Superstition, science, and spirituality intertwine as a family wrestles with what "return" matters most.
The Fountain Theatre is proud to host RETURN, written by Beth Kander, in a development workshop this Spring. An integral feature of this development workshop are community readings of the play. These readings take place at The Fountain Theatre and in community spaces across Los Angeles associated to the play. Each reading includes a guided conversation designed to bring up questions and thoughts from the audience to inspire and support the playwright in this development period.
Tickets for these readings are free. We are excited to invite our community to be a part of our development incubator and get a first look at ground breaking work that we will produce on our main stage next season!
All workshop readings are held at The Fountain Theatre except for April 20th.
