Fountain Reads is a literacy-through-drama program for early learners (TK–1st grade). This interactive program reinforces classroom learning by supporting in-school curricular goals. Fountain Theatre's teaching artists partner with credentialed classroom teachers to guide students through a four-part lesson residency, during which participants read, adapt, and perform a story. This fun and engaging program strengthens literacy skills—including phonics, word recognition, and story sequencing—while fostering imaginative play and introducing young learners to the world of performance.
