Fountain Kabarett appeals to live music lovers and moment chasers alike, who are ready to discover their new favorite artist up close and in person. the Fountain Kabarett happens every first Thursday of the month all year long.The Fountain has curated a year long line up of LA’s boldest and most imaginative musical talent.
This isn’t just any old cabaret. The unique title of the program uses the German spelling of the artform to nod at how art has the power to shift culture and subvert the status quou amongst those who dare to be in the room.

Los Caramelos Kabarett
Los Caramelos is a Los Angelas based Boleros band known for the rich voices and soft strumming guitars. whose music pays homage to classic mid century Boleros. They are known to lull audience into a dreamy trance with their rich voices and soft strumming guitars.
The Fountain Theatre is proud to have Los Caramelos on our stage for a night of passionate midcentury Boleros music. Audiences can expect to be transported to a dreamy place that only Los Caramelos can take you. The Los Caramelos Kabarett is a unique musical experience where audiences will get to know the members of Los Caramelos and why playing Boleros music means so much to them.

Romance Nocturno Kabarett
Romance Nocturno is a young ensemble devoted to the timeless sound of the bolero. Born in the early 20th century across Latin America and the Caribbean, bolero is a genre of romantic songs known for its poetic lyrics, rich harmonies, and slow, heartfelt rhythms that explore love, longing, and nostalgia.
Though bolero is often associated with older generations, the musicians of Romance Nocturno are part of a new wave of young artists drawn to its emotional depth and musical elegance. Rather than trying to reinvent the genre, the group approaches the music with deep respect for its tradition, performing classic songs with a fresh energy and passion that reflects their own voices and experiences.
Through intimate performances and expressive arrangements, Romance Nocturno strives to keep their culture’s sound alive and breathing through the heart of Boleros, becoming its bridge to a new generation.
